Broken Dreams by Lauretta P. Burns

There have been millions of wonderful poems written till now. But this has really got a deep meaning. In simple words it really teaches us the way to live the life happily. Hearty Thanks Lauretta for such a beautiful poem in which you have defined life.

Broken Dreams

As children bring their broken toys
with tears for us to mend.
I brought my broken dreams to GOD
Because He was my Friend.

But then instead of leaving Him
in Peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.

At last I snatched them back and cried
"How can You be so slow"?
"My child," He said,
"What could I do?
You never did let go."

by Lauretta P. Burns

Bless you all with wonderful life !!! :-)

    1. Your Mothers poem, truly touched me. I have been on -line searching her works and wanted to know more about her. Copying her poem, reading a verse posted under her poem. I also read this article. Truly spoke to me.. reading her own words, relating to her. Then I saw your post... and it also touch me. I think its beautiful you posted this, I bet she was a wonderful mother and woman. Im sorry for you loss.
